5 Reasons… To Get Married @ Old Wardour Castle
Old traditional Wedding venues are so beautiful and perfect for weddings as they have a lot of history and character.
I just recently visited Old Wardour Castle, which is set just outside Salisbury in Wiltshire.
Old Wardour Castle is located in the middle of the English Countryside set back miles from any main towns or City’s. Driving towards it, you feel you’re in a fairytale as the landscape is so beautiful and picturesque.
It was built in the 13th Century and partly destroyed in the Civil War. The Castle still stands today with some of its original features that date back to the 13th Century!
You may recognise it as it was featured in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves as Robin’s Father’s house and where his Father was found dead in a cage hanging from the ceiling.
Old Wardour Castle is such a stunning location and with two rooms to choose from, it’s perfect for any wedding.
Here are some photos I took when I visited.
I hope this post excites you? It was such a great opportunity as it was so stunning (as you can see).
Love you all.
