Matthew Oliver Loves – Scene Setter
As it’s a new day, a new beginning, a new challenge, a new EVERYTHING (I know I’m totally weird), it’s a perfect day for a new Matthew Oliver Loves post!!
As weddings are such loved events it’s important you love the suppliers that help create your wedding, as without them it won’t be much loved. As a member of the wedding industry my MO Loves are here for you to see who I love and as I love them you can be 100% certain they will do a fantastic job before and on your special day.
Let me introduce you to the next act (I like that)…
Scene Setter is a beautiful, innovative, sophisticated, wondrous wedding and event prop company and as a prop company they’re one of the first in their sector to specialise in pop-up creations!! Basically making props larger and in 3D.
As I’m a sucker for every wedding design aspect, when I was introduced to Scene Setter I was like ‘woweeeee’, this is what I’m talking about!
Keep reading to see why I love Scene Setter…
Fabulous event, wedding props, decorations, photobooths and fun. We design and retail our own, unique products. Party Décor just went WOW!
At Scene-Setter HQ we are more than partial to a bit of a shindig & DIY décor but occasionally we want a bit of help with the bigger more unique items, after all there is only so much time in the day to be spent knee deep in tissue paper, string and glitter.
Being practical day dreamers, we want the fun and excitement, yet not at the cost of scrimping on the fabulous fizz reception or having to decide whether we should go to LA or Luton on Honeymoon.
We are well versed in adding together all the costs, dividing them by the number of guests, multiplying by pi and scratching our heads to try and work out whether; we really need that extra bowl of olives per table or should we blow our entire budget on something glorious that everyone can enjoy!
Our products are completely unique to us.
As you can see they are not over engineered; most are made in the UK from high quality corrugated cardboard and are recyclable. There is no complicated liaising with rental companies to deliver and take away products, no worries about jolly guests damaging expensive props and no people to manage for setup.
How does it work
In most cases there is little to no work to do.
Some items will need some minor preparation – for example ‘popping’ out props from their protective boards but even the most complicated item should be up and ready to go within 10 minutes.
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, I want them all not just for weddings, but for my house too!!
What did you think?
I can ramble on till dusk to say how amazing it all is, but I’m sure you can see that for yourselves. To see more look at Scene Setter’s Gallery or to contact them, follow this link, they are very nice so don’t be scared.
Oh and a massive thank you to the amazing Alex from My Love Story Photography who took the pictures of these amazing props in action.
Thank you for popping by and saying hi and stay tuned for more MO Loves, 5 Reasons or WOW Design Boards coming your way very soon.
Matthew Oliver xx
