Hello there! I am Roxanne.
Things to know about me:
Good afternoon! What is new in the hood my lovelies?
How are you all enjoying this superb and beautiful weather? It’s striking and makes me utterly happy. I wore shorts and a t-shirt on the weekend! Not sure why I shared that, but hay ho.
So less than 3 weeks till you’ll be seeing less of me and more of Winston (Red Setter Pup). He is going to replace me as I feel he will 1) be better to look at and 2) go viral.
Haha ( well I don’t think I’ve ever started a post with that before). I’m just laughing at the title, do people understand that? I know when it comes to listening and talking to me, it takes someone that has known me for a long time to understand my jibber jabber; now it’s coming out in my writing!! So let’s hope you understand the rest of this post.
Hello lovely beautiful people!! How are we all??
So as you’ll see from the video I decided to chop my chair and stop growing my sides and back!! I don’t know why I ever thought it was going to look good, but hay ho we all make those mistakes in life don’t we?
As my biggest passion is weddings the design behind a wedding I’m just as passionate about as it’s how the wedding is brought to life. Not only do you need creativity you also need passion for you to make the design work!!
Bonjour!! Ha, I really don’t know why I keep saying bonjour recently, though I kinda like it!! Gives me an edge; what do you think? Am I being utterly delirious or is it kinda cool?
Anyway, on with the new 5 Reasons… Though I’ll like to apologise for my hair, I’m trying to grow it, but it’s not working :-).
I love planning a wedding (obviously) and I’m sure you all will too, because behind all the stress and drama there is the beautiful design of the day, what shall I base my wedding on? Where can I get this? And what shall I do with it?
What’s up with this weather? One minute its warm next minute its freezing! Yesterday I was outside in sunnies and today I’m inside with a jumper with the heating on! Isn’t that mental?
Anyway, enough of me rambling I’m back today with another 5 Reasons video and it’s about why to base your wedding on a theme or style.
Hello everyone, I’m back with a new colour palette and this time it’s with Aubergines and Black Grapes, in other terms, dark purples, also known as eggplant (so many names).
This colour can be associated with different meanings, making it such a versatile choice for any wedding.
Some call the colour royalty which will make your wedding chic and classic, where some call it gothic making it dark and mysterious. All reasons will work with that individual and you should not be afraid to use it, even if you think it resembles the opposite meaning to what you want!
It all comes down to how you create it, and how you use it for your big day.
I love this colour as it’s warm and rich.
Take a look at my design board using dark purples, known to me as aubergines and black grapes.
As always I’ll like to thank the following for the inspiration.

Catch you all soon.
Hello my lovelies.
Sadly this will be the last upload on my series abroad in Cyprus!
I was saving this to last as it’s my all-time favourite Church in Cyprus and maybe one of my favourites I have ever entered, purely because of the outstanding design, character and history of this vintage/rustic Church.
On this 5 Reasons we will go round the Church and speak on why it’s such a perfect wedding venue in Paphos/Cyprus.
Sadly that’s the end of the location videos to Cyprus, but never fear; it’s not the end of these great videos. I believe I’m developing and understanding myself a lot more, so be prepared for better and bigger vblogs!!
See you all soon,
Matthew Oliver xx
Hello, hello my lovely beautiful people. How was your weekend?
I had a super one (super for 3 reasons, super 80’s themed party, super partner and super Mario!!)
Today’s 5 Reasons is talking about the beautiful St.Georges Chapel in Paphos/Cyprus and the 5 Reasons why it would make a perfect wedding ceremony venue.
As promised because I was not able to go inside, here is a collage of photos of what it looks like inside this attractive modernised chapel. The beautiful couple are Rebecca and Steven Burt – Wedded last June.
So there we have it, a new 5 Reasons on yet another stunning venue on the island of love.
Speak again soon on the last and final video from Cyprus – Ayia Kyriaki Church.
Love and best wishes,
Matthew Oliver xx
Like I promised I would here is my 3rd of the 5 videos on location to Cyprus/Paphos on 5 Reasons to get married at the gorgeous venues in the Paphos region.
This one is based on the ever popular Peyia Town Hall, one of my favourites as it’s extremely traditional from the stone work right to the monument of lovers situated in the middle of the venue. This makes it perfect for any couple wishing for that rustic, traditional, unique wedding in Cyprus.
I’m sure you can see why it’s one of my favourites!
That’s the town halls completed on 5 Reasons why to get married at them. The next videos will be of the Churches in the Paphos region.
Best wishes and speak soon,
Matthew Oliver xx
Afternoon everyone! I hope your all well and having a bright day?
Today’s blog post is another design board and this one is based on the lovely Old McDonald’s nursery rhyme!
Dear Matthew Oliver,
“I hope your very well? I found your website when looking for a planner in our local area (Hampshire) and fell in love with your designs and inspirations. We are looking for something completely different in terms of our wedding and were wondering if you could create a design/inspiration board for us?
As we both live on a farm and have had horses all are lives we would like our theme and wedding to be based on Old McDonalds nursery rhyme, with a rustic overall element. I don’t want the wedding to be ultimately traditional, just fun and something completely different.
The whole event will be based at are farm with a humanist ceremony and the reception on outside decking around the stables.
I would like to see your creations and designs on how you would put together this wedding?
Thank you in advance and I will look forward to hearing from you.
I really enjoyed creating this design/inspirational board as I love the whole idea and theme behind the wedding.

Hello everyone it has been a long time since I have created a design board for a couple, and just when I was thinking of creating one an enquiry came through from a very creative and open minded bride. I fell totally in love with her and the idea of her creation.
“Dear Matthew Oliver, I was given your details from a very close friend and believe you can help me in my wedding planning? We are based just outside Petersfield and live extremely hectic lives, which is the reason I have called upon you for help. I have an idea of how I want my wedding and would like you to create a design board so I can see your work and how you will place it together. My parents live in a huge home with a lake where I have grown up my whole life so I will like my wedding there. On the lake are swans and have been since I can remember, I love the elegance and characters of them and with result will like to have my wedding theme on the Swan Lake. I would love to discuss this further and meet up at a convenient time?
All the best,
Below you will find my creation on how I would create such a masterpiece for Sally-Ann.
